Xeikon America, a world-class developer and manufacturer of digital printing presses and related equipment, today announced the opening of its new North American headquarters in the Chicago suburb of Elgin. Xeikon executives were joined by Elgin mayor Dave Kaptain, Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Carol Gieske and Economic Development Group Director Tony Lucenko for a gala ribbon cutting to inaugurate the facility.

LABELEXPO 2022 was an enigmatic blend of label all-stars, package printing MVPS and vibrant entrepreneurs. With all these powerhouses coming together under one roof, it was definitely an event to talk about. We could sample the latest trends and get glimpses at upcoming innovations. Amongst many eye-opening observations, here are some that particularly piqued interest.

Because of the dynamic growth of the digital label department of Etiflex S.C., a company located in Poznań, Poland, a need emerged to expand equipment resources by adding another printing machine. We chose the PX3000 UV inkjet label printing press by Xeikon, which allowed us to not only to increase productivity, but also – due to its ability to print white with high optical density – expand into new markets and acquire new customers across a wider array of industries.

Xeikon has announced the appointment of Jens Henrik Osmundsen as Head of Corrugated Sales for the EMEA region, a new role that has been created to help accelerate the digital transformation of the corrugated sector with Xeikon IDERA. His remit will be to build up and strengthen the go-to-market strategy and to maximize opportunities for customers looking to take advantage of Xeikon’s new single-pass, water-based digital inkjet printing technology for corrugated.
