The location in Zell am Moos is hardly recognisable! Today, a modern new building impresses - consisting of an office building and production halls.

(Total area of new building 14,550 m², total area of company grounds 100,000 m²).

Currently, the production halls are being filled with the latest high-tech machinery:

Double band saw for efficient production
Planing line for MDF and solid wood with 11 spindles for optimal processing
New wrapping line
Automatic cutting saw
Automatic infeed of MDF/solid wood using robots for separating the boards for the cutting and band saw
Robots for automatic stacking of the finished skirting bundles (now up to 6 m possible)
Lacquering systems

These and other high-tech systems and machinery will ensure that FN Neuhofer can continue to serve its customers with products of absolute top quality and the fastest delivery service in the future, making joint, successful growth with them possible at all times!

Sustainability that's put into practice

Sustainable action and cross-generational thinking are deeply rooted in FN Neuhofer's corporate history.

The family business always understands sustainability as

equal and simultaneous implementation of environmental, social and economic goals.
This includes environmentally friendly, resource-saving production
the development of products and solutions with the lowest possible emissions and
means efficient and cost-conscious processes along the entire value chain.
But the social component, in long-term relationships with business partners and employees, are also extremely important.

Investments made:

Investment in a photovoltaic system (1 MW) = savings in CO₂ emissions of 482,870 kg per year. Almost all the electricity generated can be used in the business (86.2 % own consumption).
Electricity is generated from two own hydropower plants.
Heating is provided, among other things, with the company's own wood chips and the chips produced in production.
Investment in a new, energy-efficient biomass heating system = reduction of NOx emissions by approx. 50 % compared to the old system.
Investment in a new filter system = reduction of dust emissions from 150 mg/Nm³ to 10 mg/Nm³.
Investment in Fast- and AC-charging stations for electric vehicles.
Investment in radar-controlled car park lighting = saving 80% of energy = 5,300 kg CO₂ per year.
Optimised compressed air treatment = reduction of CO₂ emissions by 36,258 kg per year.
Extraction system for plastic chips to be able to recycle them again.
Anyone who wants to help shape the future must think in terms of resource conservation and act in a socially responsible manner. High-performance solutions without sustainability claim and genuine customer benefits are inconceivable for FN Neuhofer.
