Thordon Bearings’ ThorPlas-Blue grease-free bearings won the annual IBJ Environment Protection (Marine) Award 2023 during a gala dinner last night hosted by British comedian Hugh Dennis and International Bulk Journal publisher Ray Girvan. Thordon Bearings was also nominated in the Innovative Technology Award category for the same product.

Enviro's technology is once again awarded. The company wins the Tyre Pyrolysis Award category at this year's Recircle Awards. "Cycling around the World", the international cycling competition organized by Gebrüder Weiss, ended with an impressive result: together, 650 cyclists the world over covered a distance of 612,246 kilometers – more than 15 times around the globe, far surpassing their original goal to circle the earth seven times. This was the second time the logistics company have invited their employees to take part in the sports competition between April and September, after last year’s inaugural competition delivered a surprising six circumnavigations of the globe.
