Japanese automotive industry gets a new operator as the Finnish self-driving company opens an office in Tokyo. The upcoming New York International Auto Show will feature a press conference to officially open the largest indoor EV Test Track ever constructed at the Show covering nearly 250,000 sq. ft. and featuring a wide range of electric vehicles for attendees to experience. Speakers at the event include leaders from the automobile industry, dealer associations, government agencies and utility companies laying out plans for mass EV adoption and electrification.

With a host of innovations and fresh new experiences for potential car buyers, the New York Auto Show has big plans to excite and educate attendees on the benefits of driving electric with a major 'Electric Test Fest' that will take up two-thirds of the Show's lower level. The Show opens to the public April 15-24 (press days: April 13 &14) at the fully expanded Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.
