Cities have a crucial role to play in the race to reach net-zero emissions by 2050; to respond to this challenge, the World Economic Forum today launches a Toolbox of Solutions, a digital platform containing more than 200 leading practices and case studies to boost sustainability and reduce emissions in cities, at its Sustainable Development Impact Summit
The platform, developed in collaboration with Accenture, focuses on solutions that address clean electrification, efficiency and smart infrastructure across sectors including energy, buildings and mobility

Building for the future was the guiding principle in the design and construction of Strabag’s new accommodation facilities for apprentices. The Austrian construction company used prefabricated wooden elements by Stora Enso to build housing for 250 apprentices who start their career at the training center in Ybbs near Vienna. Arkema announces the finalization of an agreement with Chinese producer Aofan to manufacture 1233zd in China.
