The Optima Packaging Group from Schwäbisch Hall was recently presented with the "Allianz Industrie 4.0 Award Baden-Württemberg" for its digitalization strategy and customer-focused implementation of digitalization solutions.

Maximum benefit and added value for the customer: According to this principle, the Optima Packaging Group is driving forward the use of digital technologies in filling and packaging systems across all industries. In addition, Optima pursues a holistic and sustainable approach with its digitalization strategy - derived from the overarching corporate mission "We care for people".
Sustainable digitalization approaches are rewarded

This approach was recently honored in a special way. At a ceremony in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg's Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, presented the "Allianz Industrie 4.0 Award Baden-Württemberg" at the highest "Excellence" level to three companies from "The Länd", including the Optima Packaging Group from Schwäbisch Hall. The award is presented for holistic approaches to digital transformation.
Best possible solution for users

Dr. Benjamin Häfner, Director Industrial IT, who heads the digital solutions department at Optima, accepted the award. "We have been working on digitalization solutions for many years. We see the award as a great honor and also as a reward for our efforts," he says. "For us, it is crucial that we find the best possible solution for our customers. We have already received a lot of positive feedback from customers. The award also encourages us to continue on our chosen path."
Support along the value chain

Optima offers digital solutions, known as Intelligent Production Assistance Services (IPAS), to support customers in optimizing their production. With IPAS, customers have an overview of processes and systems, can identify potential for improvement and receive rapid support if required. In addition, digital technologies at Optima already provide support in engineering and other value-added processes, resulting in improved time-to-market, quality and reduced workload for employees.
Agile, resilient and economically successful

"With the new 'Allianz Industrie 4.0 Award Baden-Württemberg' competition, we are setting a new focus. We show how strongly our companies have anchored digitalization solutions holistically in their value chain in order to be agile, resilient and economically successful, especially in international competition," emphasized Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut.
