The new year has started off well for Marbach, the globally operating tool manufacturer. For the second time, the company has been awarded the prestigious EcoVadis Silver Medal for its outstanding sustainability performance. This puts Marbach in the top 15% of the most sustainable companies in all of the industries worldwide that underwent EcoVadis' rigorous assessment last year.

It is particularly noteworthy that EcoVadis has tightened its evaluation criteria in all areas compared to last year. This has made the competition for the medals much more demanding. The fact that Marbach has once again been awarded silver shows the professionalism and commitment that the company has shown in promoting its sustainability management.
Eva-Maria Agreiter, Marbach's Sustainability Manager, is pleased with the renewed honor: "Sustainability is a central element of our philosophy as a company with a history of more than 100 years. The fact that we have again been awarded the silver medal under more stringent conditions fills me with great pride.”
