- Tristan A. Foerster to head ClimatePartner's USA business

- Climate protection "made in Germany" goes global
- Greater international reach for the established "climate neutral" label

Climate protection expert ClimatePartner, founded in Munich in 2006, is expanding into the USA. Led by Tristan A. Foerster, CEO and Co-Founder of ClimatePartner, the new Boston office is the hub and point of contact for companies in North America looking to calculate their carbon footprint and achieve climate neutrality for their operations, products and services. By making its expertise and solutions available in one of the world's largest economies, ClimatePartner is taking climate protection to a new, global level.

In this context, the "climate neutral" label gains even more international reach and impact. The recognised label confirms that CO2 emissions have been calculated and reduced and that unavoidable emissions have been offset. Every day, thousands of new products are launched with the label, which provides transparent information about the CO2 footprint and measures for reduction and compensation. Consumers can thus make a climate-conscious purchasing decision.

Taking climate protection to the next level

Tristan A. Foerster explains: "My drive is to make a better life possible through climate protection - for people, animals and the environment. I am therefore delighted to take ClimatePartner into a new dimension with our presence in the USA. In this way, we can support international companies even better and at the same time continue our vision of bringing climate protection to a truly global level."

Moritz Lehmkuhl, CEO and founder of ClimatePartner, adds: "It is an important step for climate protection and also for ClimatePartner. We are already the preferred partner for more than 4,000 companies when it comes to implementing climate protection and getting their CO2 emissions under control. I am very pleased that Tristan is leading our business activities in North America and accompanying companies on their way to climate neutrality there."

ClimatePartner has been a pioneer in the market since 2006 with its solution for balancing, reducing and offsetting CO2 emissions. With a team of more than 300 climate experts, the company continues to expand its presence in Europe and already supports more than 4,000 companies in 40 countries.
