To many people, a label is purely a decorative item used to convey information and draw attention to a product. We are used to using labels to influence our purchasing decisions in a variety of places like supermarket shelves and pharmacies. But what about the environments through which these labels must travel?

A sketchy record on sustainability can have a real effect on brand image and is often something your
customers and shareholders will judge your business on. On the flip side, a strong commitment to
sustainability can have a positive effect on your business.

Avery Dennison Labels and Packaging Materials (LPM) is pleased to announce its partnership with Tosca, a global leader in reusable plastic packaging and pooling solutions for the supply chain. The partnership means Avery Dennison LPM is aiming to switch a substantial portion of its product distribution across the continent to plastic pallets with a goal to save over 800 tons of CO2 emissions[1] from its European supply chain annually.

UPM Raflatac has made further progress towards a more circular economy for plastics and a future beyond fossils during 2021. This is detailed in the New Plastics Economy Global Commitment 2022 Progress Report by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP). UPM Raflatac joined the Global Commitment as the first label materials company in October 2018.

About a year and a half ago, Creapack installed a Jeti Tauro H3300 LED large format printer with automatic loading and unloading to replace two existing printers.
