More than 150 products are in the running for the Automechanika Frankfurt Innovation Awards this year. This is the largest number of entries since the awards were launched. There were a particularly large number of submissions in the areas of workshop solutions, innovative parts, electromobility and AI. The international jury will meet in Frankfurt in mid-July to decide which products will be honoured with the coveted awards.

Applications on display include wheel inserts for aerodynamics, a front grille with paint-free color, a rearview mirror with EMI shielding for integrated ADAS radar, a service flap for EV charging ports and insulation film for EV battery modules.
SABIC’s materials enable longer useful life of automotive parts, incorporating recycled content and avoiding volatile emissions from coating application.
From 10 to 14 September 2024, Automechanika in Frankfurt has a lot to offer for professionals in the body & paint sector: Lectures on repairing electric vehicles, practical workshops and live painting, a lounge for expert meetings, an after-work event on Friday, many presentations on the topic of classic cars, including selected show cars. Automechanika fans can now choose one of the vehicles themselves in an online vote. The choice is between four models.
