As the world's leading trade fair, ISH sets standards in the areas of water, heating and air. In 2025, it will once again be offering a platform for outstanding innovations and design quality with the Designplus Award by ISH in collaboration with Stylepark.

The expert jury has made its decision: 34 nominees have been selected from over 160 submissions and will be presented in an exclusive special exhibition in the foyer of Hall 5.1 during the entire ISH. The winners of the award will be announced on the first day of the fair at a festive awards ceremony at 2 p.m. at the Design Plaza in Hall 3.1.
The selection process for the Designplus Award by ISH took place in several phases. First, the nominees were determined before the jury chose the winners in a final meeting. The independent jury – consisting of renowned experts from the sanitation and heating industry, such as Elke Oechsner (Managing Director Heizungs-Journal Verlags GmbH), Prof. Amandus Samsøe Sattler (ensømble studio architektur, President DGNB e.V.), Matthias Thiel (Consultant Business Administration Data Management, Demographic Change at ZVSHK – Zentralverband Sanitär Heizung Klima), Jens Wischmann (Managing Director of VDS – Vereinigung Deutsche Sanitärwirtschaft e.V. & Managing Director of VdZ – Wirtschaftsvereinigung Gebäude und Energie e.V.) as well as Stylepark AG (Magazine for Architecture and Design) – evaluated the submissions according to the highest quality standards. Particular emphasis was placed on sustainability, degree of innovation, as well as functional and aesthetic aspects.
‘We have received a wide range of submissions from the plumbing, heating, energy, ventilation and software sectors,’ according to jury member Jens Wischmann. ’This is an impressive demonstration of how broadly based the HVAC industry is. It is particularly pleasing that we are seeing not only excellent design, but also highly innovative, solution- oriented products that represent a real improvement. This makes me optimistic for an exciting ISH 2025.’ The solution orientation is in line with this year's thematic focus of the ISH, which offers visitors a better orientation with eight solution areas.

Both large industrial companies and young, innovative start-ups are represented. The products submitted come from 24 countries and underline the international importance of ISH as the world's leading trade fair for HVAC and water.
