With just a few weeks to go before the doors open, Light + Building can boast yet another increase in exhibitor numbers. So far, over 2,130 companies have registered to present their innovative solutions and trends at the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building-services technology in Frankfurt am Main from 3 to 8 March 2024.

At the beginning of March, Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre will be the meeting place for the lighting and building-services technology sectors. The level of internationality among the over 2,130 exhibitors has reached 77 percent. After Germany, the majority of exhibitors come from Italy, China, Turkey, Spain, Poland, Austria, the Netherlands, Great Britain, France and Greece. “With just a few weeks to go before the doors open, we can report a powerful final spurt with a good 130 exhibitor registrations having been received since the end of last year. This represents another positive boost for the final stages until the trade fair begins”, says a delighted Johannes Möller, Director, Light + Building.

The motto of the 2024 edition of this innovation show is ‘Be Electrified’. As the basis for greater sustainability and a future-proof building sector, the leading international trade fair is putting the focus on electrification. There, the industry will present their lighting trends, as well as innovations from the fields of electrical engineering, home and building automation and connected safety and security technology, to an audience of architects, interior architects, designers, planners, engineers, artisans and the trade.

Numerous events will ensure no shortage of inspiration and information. At the Design Plaza in Hall 3.1, everything revolves around lighting, architecture and design. In close thematic proximity to home and building automation, as well as electrical engineering, the Building Plaza in Hall 9.0, the ZVEI Technology Forum in Hall 12.1 and the ZVEH E‑House in Hall 11.0 offer a great opportunity for knowledge transfer. Guided tours on selected subjects ensure orientation despite the multitude of themes covered by the fair.
