New Hägglunds Quantum motor range combines high performance data with sustainability and a long service life

With the Hägglunds Quantum hydraulic motor range, Hägglunds removes previous performance limits in torque and speed and combines them with high efficiency. The direct drives can be used in heavy-duty applications as well as mobile applications.
Hägglunds Quantum hydraulic motors combine proven Hägglunds motor strengths such as high reliability with unique power density. With a maximum speed of more than 150 rpm and a maximum torque of more than 350 kNm, they offer a combination of torque and speed that is unique in the market. The engine achieves 3 MW corner power - without sacrificing compactness and efficiency.
“The Hägglunds Quantum range rewrites the rules of power density, especially when it comes to efficiency at higher speeds,” says Wolfram Ulrich, Vice President of Sales, Hägglunds. “By stretching the limits so far beyond previous solutions, it introduces possibilities for greener operation, mobile applications and more.”
Applications for which the Hägglunds CBp 280 motor was previously the most efficient solution can now use the Hägglunds Quantum Power 280, which is around 500 kg lighter. This saves resources and reduces emissions during production and transport. For mobile applications, this also means reduced weight and fuel consumption.
The Quantum range includes two motors. The Hägglunds Quantum is the new name of the Hägglunds CB, which has evolved significantly over time. Through optimizations in design and materials, Hägglunds Quantum has increased efficiency and tripled the average service life. The new Hägglunds Quantum Power, features an optimized design for outstanding efficiency and power density, developed with new simulation techniques. With additional connections and optimized channel geometries, this enables much higher speeds with full torque capacity and high efficiency. Both motors are suitable for crushers and internal mixers, for example, but also for mobile applications.
